I Just Wanted to Write Some Damn Code

As if I needed anything else kicking me in the balls and telling me I'm not cut out for this.

Last night I discovered that someone had managed to get through my firewall and download the entire source code for Aria, the personal AI assistant I've been building as my own version of JARVIS. Months of development, countless hours of work, and now some asshole has a copy of the whole thing. I don't even know the full extent of what they accessed yet.

And the worst part? I left the hole in the firewall that let them in.

So instead of spending my Sunday morning working on LastLook or Naches Tech, I'm shutting down Aria, tightening security, rotating credentials, and trying to figure out just how badly I've been compromised.

Wonderful.

Between working to pay the bills, trying to get Lonely Ranch Games off the ground, and having more ideas than hours in the day, I'm already stretched thin enough.

And what pisses me off the most? It's not even the stolen code. It's the time. Time I don't have to spare. Time I was supposed to spend moving something forward instead of cleaning up my screw up.

It's Sunday morning. I've got coffee, ice cold Jolt Cola, a bunch of security work ahead of me, and absolutely no desire to be doing any of it.

I just wanted to write some damn code.
