Running Out of Weekend

It's Monday.

I'm really starting to dread Mondays. Not because I hate my job, but because it means putting my own dreams on the back burner so I can go make money for someone else. I spend all weekend working on things I actually give a shit about, and then Monday rolls around and it's back to paying someone else's mortgage.

This weekend was pretty damn productive. I did a major overhaul of my OBS and Stream Deck setup. Even got the itch to stream for a while. Didn't actually stream, but the itch was there. The Beacon54 website is finally live. Spent a good chunk of the weekend getting it there.

I thought today was going to be release day for LastLook. Then I realized I'd somehow managed to overlook a feature that was pretty much the entire reason I started building LastLook in the first place. How the hell did I miss that?

Once LastLook is finished, I'm getting back to Zed Invasion, with a side quest into Neon Chain because Google wants an API update before Halloween.

Of course, iShenanigans is fighting like hell to get out of my brain. I've got ideas bouncing around that I'm itching to start working on, but it's just going to have to wait its turn.

Too many ideas. Too many projects. Not enough hours in the day.

Spending time with VantaQueen is just as much a part of my weekend as sitting in front of the computer writing code. We got caught up on all of our TV shows and managed to watch Runner. Alan Ritchson delivered quality action and ass-kicking, but between Owen Wilson's annoying voice and the unrealistic medical stuff... 6.5/10.
