Some Weeks Are Harder Than Others
It's Friday morning.
I haven't really felt like putting my thoughts down this week.
Tuesday was my oldest daughter's birthday. I haven't seen her in six years. I haven't seen my youngest since 2012. It's been a rough week, and some things just weigh heavier than others.
But life doesn't stop.
I've been working my day job and writing code. Yesterday I finished above my sales goal again. Twelve consecutive weeks since I started. Haven't missed my goal once.
LastLook is sitting at RC3, waiting for my testers to get back to me. Meanwhile, I've been working through the paperwork (does it still count as paperwork if it's all digital?) to establish the company as a Microsoft partner.
Anyway, it's now 11:42 Friday morning. I'm home from a doctor's appointment, I've got an ice-cold Jolt Cola, and I'm back to writing code for Zed Invasion while I wait for Microsoft to figure out what hoop they want me to jump through next.
